GENERAL INFORMATION

LOCAL INFORMATION by Visit Cairngorm

We have some great support locally and highly recommend checking out the VisitCairngorm website for all the local information you will need:

  • Places to Stay (full listings of B&B, campsites, bunkhouses etc within Aviemore)
  • Accommodation Enquiry Form
  • What's On BRITS article
  • LIFTPASSES - On popular weekends these tend to sell out in advance, however if you are a competitor we have a special code that can be used to access our event allocation (just pre register and we'll send it to you on monday 27th)
  • FREE TRANSFER BUS - Competitors arriving on-site. Cairngorm Mountain have organised shuttle buses for the Saturday and Sunday and we'd really like you to use them. Buses will leave Aviemore Railway Station at 8am on the Saturday and Sunday. Competitors can be transported back by shuttle buses at c. 4.30pm each day. It’s important that this facility is used as it will not only allow competitors transport from Aviemore to Cairngorm without using their own vehicle, but will ease congestion in the car parks. Plus its less fuel, so more eco friendly!
